About the Gen Z Program

The mission of the Wallace is "Creating Experiences that Entertain, Inspire and Empower!" To achieve this mission, with support from the Hockley County Endowment, we are investing in young people in our community.

The youth of today are facing a major crisis with self-image, relationships, and goals.  Each of us may have dealt with these issues in our own past.  You may have wanted to do something about these problems in yourself or in others but not known what you could do, never been given a tool to do it or had anyone show you what you could accomplish on your own.

Generation Ziglar is a program designed to equip today’s youth with the tools and skills needed to solve the crisis they are facing of self-image, relationships, and goals.

This program is unique in its approach to learning because the facilitators are young people who can create an impactful peer-to-peer learning environment outside of the normal classroom setting.

On September 7, 2018 the Wallace Theater received a grant of $8,808 from the Hockley County Endowment to be the first location to launch Generation Ziglar! in a format that will work with students over an eight week period and follow up with students after the conclusion of the program.  In the Fall of 2018 the Wallace hosted classes for 7th and 8th-grade students and kicked of the spring class for 6th grade students April 9th.

Do you want to know more about hosting this program for a group of students or your organization?  Call the Wallace at 806-894-1273.

Instead of talking about the problems, we created a solution for them! It is an amazing sight to see how we are now positively impacting the youth of today. This is what the world has been waiting for and it is thrilling to launch it from right here in Levelland.
