I’m honored to be chosen by my fellow board members as Chairman of a pioneering non profit organization in my home town. I’m deeply mindful of the trust that has been placed in me. The renaissance of the Wallace is a permanent transformation for the local economy, education, and culture; in a town my family has lived and operated from for 102 consecutive years. Fun is at the top of my list, regardless of age, race, religion or creed. Everyone is welcome at the Wallace. We want you to give the Wallace a chance if you haven’t yet, and I guarantee you that you will leave impressed, or I’ll personally cover your refund. I’m excited about the future. Nicole Campbell- Vice President

Nicole Campbell is the General Manager of Smith Auto Family in Levelland, Texas. She grew up in Slaton, Texas, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Texas Tech University and is a NADA Dealer Academy graduate. Nicole is active in her community– she serves on the boards of Main Street Levelland, The Wallace Theater, Levelland ISD's District Advisory Committee, and Greater Texas FDAF, participates in Keep Levelland Beautiful, and is a member of the Levelland Industry/Education Partnership Initiative connecting local employers with Levelland ISD and South Plains College. She loves being part of a community that uplifts and plans for the future and is proud to be a small part of what the Wallace is building.

Lance Gonzalez- Treasurer

Lance Gonzalez is the store director at United Supermarkets in Levelland, Texas. Originally from Lamesa, Lance later moved to Lubbock and graduated from Montetlrey high school. Lance met his future wife while working at United and now has 3 kids: Aubrey, Avery, and Allen. Lance's favorite thing about the Wallace theater is the exposure to the arts that it provides kids in the area and the appeal it can have to bringing people to Levelland.

What I love most about the Wallace is how big of an impact it makes and will make in the future on kids in the area. Rural areas do not always have the most opportunities for kids in the area, but the Wallace is changing that! As a father and advocate for the arts, I love that I can help this great theater serve the community. I hope my kids are involved in arts when they grow up and can see shows at the Wallace for years to come!

Beth Walls- Secretary

Beth Walls is an Ohio by birth and a Texan by choice. Having moved every three years of her life until coming to Levelland about 20 years ago- she considers Levelland her home. Beth has a B.S. in Education from the University of Akron and a M.S. in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. Her work experience spans from sno-cone maker during college to Director of HR for both the cities of Levelland and Alvarado, TX. In between she taught Home Economics, managed fabric, cookies, candy and furniture stores and sold cemetery property. She has retired twice and is working hard to make the second one stick. So far- so good.

Brian Lewis- At-Large Executive Committee

Brian Lewis is a Financial Advisor and Principal with Edward Jones, where he has served clients since joining the firm in 2009. In 2026, he was named a Principal and currently leads his region, focusing on developing leaders and strengthening client relationships. Brian and his wife, Shelby, have been married since 2008 and are proud parents to their two children, Emory and Everett. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf, spending time with family and friends, and giving back to his community.

PRENTICE FRED

Born 05/28/1941, in Hockley County Texas, Prentice was raised on a farm. He has been involved in Agriculture most of his life. Prentice has completed one year of college at SPC in Levelland. Shortly after he ran trucking business for18 years while farming. Prentice has managed Long S Gin almost 30 years. He is now retired.

Meet Stevi Foster, a Levelland native with deep family roots in Hockley County. Stevi has a degree in fashion and advertising photography from ACC and obtained her Cosmetology license at South Plains College. She and her husband, Rowdy, have three children. Her biggest passion is her children and their creativity - they give her a strong enthusiasm and excitement for The Wallace Theatre and the future memories her family will make.

Brittany Richards

Brittney Richards is a speech-language pathologist with Levelland ISD who is passionate about education, community engagement, and preserving local history. A Lubbock native, she earned her bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and her master's degree from Texas Christian University. Brittney enjoys volunteering throughout the community, leading international mission trips with her husband, Zach, and serving as a White House Christmas volunteer. She has a deep appreciation for historic architecture, the arts, and the stories that connect communities—making service on the Wallace Theater Board a natural fit.

Lee Ann Paxton

Lee Ann attended Texas Tech and earned a degree in Marketing. she has been married to Todd for 42 years and raised two beautiful daughters in Levelland. Lee Ann is blessed with two sons-in-law, two grandsons and one granddaughter. She is an avid Texas Tech supporter and fan. Lee Ann says her biggest blessings in life are the Lord and the unconditional love for her mother, who has poured unmeasurable love and encouragement into her life for 64 years. Lee Ann’s goal is to always sow love, enthusiasm, encouragement, and joy into others! She says Life, after all, is what you make it!

Lorie Marquez

Lorie a West Texas girl through and through. She has two precious kiddos, five sisters, one brother and is married to her best friend. Lorie’s parents inspire her daily as a reminder of what hard work, true love, and God can do for a relationship. She attended and graduated from Lubbock Christian University, South Plains College and Levelland High School; her passion will always be numbers. Lorie currently serves on several boards and enjoys the knowledge, education and friendships that volunteering extends.

Matt Rush

Matt was born and raised on a farm and ranch in Eastern New Mexico. From the time he was in the 8th grade he knew his life’s ambition was to become a motivational speaker. He spent his entire professional career perusing that goal. Whenever the global pandemic annihilated his public speaking business, he knew he had to make an enormous pivot. With ample time on his hands, he began pursuing his secret lifelong dream of becoming a sculptor and creating artworks of bronze. In his first few years of creating his artwork it has sold national and internationally. In addition, he has been a featured artist at the National Ranching Heritage Center’s Summer Stampede Art Show and Sale.

His Mission Statement is: To create works of art that investors would be proud to have in their home and keep for generations. A Note from Matt, “When I took my first art lesson in the fall of 2020, I could have never dreamt what the result would become. From the beginning, I did not want to create art, I wanted to create an emotion. An emotion that is captured in bronze. An emotion that can touch someone’s soul and transcend time.”

Matt has served as the former CEO of the New Mexico Farm Bureau, served on the American Farm Bureau’s Foundation for Agriculture Board of Directors and been a partnering speaker with the Zig Ziglar family. He and his beautiful wife Katy make their home in Levelland, TX

Kay Franklin

JOe tubb

Joe Tubb has worked as a teacher, coach, and college administrator for 45 years. Mr. Tubb is a graduate of South Plains College. He received his bachelor’s degree in math education from West Texas A&M University and his master’s degree in physical education from Sul Ross State University. After teaching and coaching 12 years in public schools, Tubb returned to South Plains College in 1983 as director of athletics. He served in this position for 33 years, retiring in 2016. Mr. Tubb is active in the Levelland community. He is a past president of the Levelland Noon Rotary Club. He was honored as a Distinguished Citizen by the George White District of the South Plains Council, Boy Scouts of America, in 2016. He is also a past member of the South Plains College Foundation Board of Directors. He and his wife Kathy, have two adult children, Chad (Jennifer) Tubb and Lesli (Britt) Spears.

IRIS KEELING, EX-OFFICIO

Iris W Keeling is a Levelland native. She received an Associate of Science - South Plains College, Bachelor of Science Agricultural – Texas Tech University and a Master of Science – Texas Tech University. She retired from South Plains College where she served as Professor of Biology for twenty-nine years. She has been in the Insurance Business for over forty years and is the Owner/President of George R Keeling Insurance Agency LLC. She has served as President of Levelland ISD School Board, President of Marigolds (women’s business community support group) and is currently serving as Vice-President of Levelland Main Street Board.
