DANIEL PATRICK HOGAN (Sweeney  Todd) is a versatile artist whose talents range from singing to scenic set and makeup design. Daniel studied vocal performance at Texas Tech University under Sue Arnold. Daniel’s most recent opera roles include Colline in La Bohéme with the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra, Papageno in Die Zauberflöte at the Amalfi Festival in Maiori, Italy, and Antonio in Le Nozze di Figaro at Texas Tech University. He was awarded the Audience Favorite award at the Meistersinger Competition at the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria.Daniel’s solo concert performances feature singing the parts of Jesus in J. S. Bach’s Johannes Passion and Petrus in Mattheus Passion with the Texas Tech University Choir, Bass soloist in The Messiah with the Westchester Oratorio Society and as Valens in Theodora with the Nubian Conservatory of Music in Brooklyn. Daniel is a Cantor at the Church of St. Paul the Apostle in New York City where he has greatly enjoyed making music during the pandemic.

Daniel’s regional Musical Theatre roles include Lancelot in Camelot, Marius in Les Misérables, Curly in Oklahoma!, The Beast in Beauty and The Beast, Frank Butler in Annie Get Your Gun, Captain Hook in Peter Pan, and The Cat In the Hat in Seussical The Musical.

Daniel was a featured singer in the 2020 Moët-Hennessy Virtual Cocktail Party. The event was live-streamed during the Pandemic and was an immersive cocktail party showcasing signature Moët-Hennessy cocktails and continuing education for Brand Ambassadors.

Daniel is thrilled to be working with this excellent cast and production team!

ANNIE NICHOLS-BURGE (Mrs. Lovett) is a performer and educator based in Lubbock, Texas. She holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in Vocal Performance from Texas Tech University and has studied with Mary Jane Johnson, Sue Arnold, John Gillas, and Dr. Steve Weber. Annie just began her 3rd year serving as Instructor of Voice in Fine Arts at South Plains College. In her spare time, Annie teaches private voice lessons and serves as music director and vocal coach for Lubbock Community Theatre’s Horizon School of the Arts, a preparatory program for students interested in pursuing Musical Theatre in college. 

Annie has served as Music Director for multiple productions including TTU’s Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, LCT’s Matilda and Young Frankenstein, and most recently Horizon’s Godspell and Descendants the Musical. Although Annie loves to help performers find their voices on stage, she loves being on the stage even more. Favorite roles include Ursula (The Little Mermaid), Kala (Tarzan), Fiona (Shrek), Tracy Turnblad (Hairspray), Woman (Marry Me a Little), Cathy (The Last 5 Years), Elizabeth (Young Frankenstein) and Judy (9 to 5). Special thanks to The Wallace for making this wickedly delicious dream role come true!

RANDAL RAMIREZ (Anthony Hope) is the librarian and theatre director for Sundown ISD, and has also served at the Wallace Theater as Summer Camp Director for the past four summers.  He received his degree in theatre from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX.  Randal has been a performer/director for many years with a variety of groups all across the West Texas/New Mexico area including: The Abilene Players, Lubbock Community Theatre, Ragtown Gospel Theatre, Cactus Theater, and The Spencer Theatre.  His favorite performance credits include: The Fantasticks (El Gallo), 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Vice-Principal Panch), Titanic (Thomas Andrews), Guys and Dolls (Nicely Nicely Johnson), Oklahoma! (Curly), and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (The Governor).

As a director, Randal has produced many award winning productions through the UIL One-Act Play contest, and strives to find ways to challenge both himself and his students through their work together.  Randal is drawn to directing contemporary new works that deal with the historical fights of underprivileged minorities. Notable directing credits include: Doubt: A Parable, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Silent Sky, Seussical, and Women of Lockerbie

He has previously served on the Board of Directors for Lubbock Community Theatre, where he is still an active volunteer and member of the Play Selection Committee.

NATALIE STANISLAUS (Johanna) Natalie is very excited to be performing as Johanna in Sweeney Todd at the Wallace Theater. Natalie is currently a graduate student at Texas Tech University and will graduate with her master’s degree in media and communications this December of 2021. Natalie also received her bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University in communication studies with a minor in music in August of 2020. For the past several years, Natalie has taken voice lessons from an assistant voice professor at Texas Tech University, Dr. Alice Ann-Light, and she has previously studied with Annie Nichols-Burge, Gerald Dolter, Karl Dent, and David Gaschen.  Aside from her vocal training, Natalie recently performed as Maleficent in Descendants: The Musical at Horizon School of the Arts and has also been in several musicals with Lubbock Community Theater (LCT). Some of her favorite roles at LCT include Inga in Young Frankenstein, Miss Honey in Matilda, Judy’s Understudy in 9 to 5, and Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family. Natalie has also performed with Lubbock Moonlight Musicals as Olga Mara in Singin’ in the Rain, Jan in Grease, and a General’s Daughter in Pirates of Penzance. Before attending Texas Tech University and moving to Lubbock, Natalie performed in 12 musicals and 5 plays in her hometown of Frisco, TX, and some of her favorite roles included Mary Girard in The Insanity of Mary Girard, Wendy in Peter Pan, the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella, and Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. In her free time, Natalie enjoys singing choral music at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Lubbock, TX under the direction of Dr. John Hollins. Natalie would like to thank her friends, family, and voice teachers for their continued support throughout her journey as an actress and performer.

DAVID STALLINGS (Tobias) is an actor and playwright whose work has been seen internationally.  Originally from Galveston, TX, David’s acting career began at the age of five, portraying juvenile leads in Summer Stock and regional productions.  David has spent the last decade based in NYC and is thrilled to be back in the Southwest with such a fantastic team.  Favorite roles include Lord Goring (An Ideal Husband), Jack (Into the Woods), Kendal (Sweet, Sweet Spirit), Demetrius (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Lady Macbeth (Macbeth), Derek (Ripcord), Mordred (Camelot), Lord Henry (The Picture of Dorian Grey), Damon (The Baby Monitor), Fenton (Merry Wives of Windsor), Tuzenbach (The Three Sisters), and Jimmy in The Beggar’s Opera with Santa Fe Opera.  David’s play The Baby Monitor has been seen in New York, Dublin, Belgrade and is slated to tour Italy this November.  David is very grateful to Anna for inviting him to be a part of this production, the first time David has been able to be back onstage since the pandemic. SCOTT ALFORD (Judge Turpin)  has been performing on stage for almost 50 years. Some of his favorite roles to play have been the title role in Becket or The Honour of God, Barry Champlain in Talk Radio, Juror #3 in 12 Angry Men, Bill Sikes in Oliver!, Miles Gloriosus in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Richard in The Lion in Winter, Arvide in Guys and Dolls, Pharaoh in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and particularly Tevye in two productions of Fiddler on the Roof. He is excited to be able to add Judge Turpin to this list. (He thanks Anna and the Wallace Theatre for the role). He has also acted in independent short films and has done quite a bit of voice work over the years.

When not on stage, he works in Financial Aid at South Plains College. He also takes great joy in being husband to Jeanie, dad to JennyBeth, Jarrod, and Jaclyn; father-in-law to Kenneth and Brianna; Grandad to Nathanael and Luke; son to Martha; and brother to Phil, Sherry, and Danny (plus their families). He would like to thank you all for your constant love and support (especially Jeanie for her indulgence of Scott’s desire to perform)! Most of all, he expresses thanks to the Father of Lights for giving him the talent and opportunity to perform.

MALLORY FLORES (Beggar Woman) Mallory is originally from Spring Branch, TX, but has spent the last 13 years in and around the Lubbock area. In 2012, she graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with a B.S. in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. In 2017, she received an M.S. in Speech- Language Pathology. She is currently a Speech and Language Pathologist for a pediatric therapy clinic in Lubbock. Mallory began acting and singing at a very young age, and has performed locally in musicals such as Lubbock Community Theatre’s The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, and Moonlight Musical’s Grease, Mamma Mia!, Annie, and Elf The Musical.

JOEY RODRIGUEZ (Adolfo Pirelli) attended TTU and studied voice under Dr. Rebecca Hays and Karl Dent. His credits include The Fairy Queen (Lysander) with Gramercy Opera, and Don Giovanni (Masetto) with the New York Lyric Opera Theater. He has also recently performed Sweet Charity and Promises Promises with the Transport Group Theatre Company. He has also been a repeat Baritone Soloist for the Westchester Oratorio Society where he has enjoyed the privilege of bringing to life early music works composed by Bach and Mozart. Joey has also spent time as an associate choral director for the Inspirit Ensemble at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in New York City. Being a former company member at Ballet Lubbock, Joey has danced for Yvonne Racz-Key, as well as for Kate Thomas and Danny Catanach at Steps On Broadway. Joey's other credits include Annie Get Your Gun! with Westchester Broadway Theater (Sitting Bull Understudy), KRiEp: The Grusical (Det. Caccia), The Full Monty (Ethan), The Wild Party (Phil D’Armano), and a soloist in Bock Stock. Joey has most recently directed The Sound of Music for Lubbock’s Moonlight Musicals.

FALAN MEMMOTT (Jonas Fogg) Although Falan works in Cybersecurity, he is a theatre veteran who appreciates how the arts help people reflect on life and influence positive change in the world.

He has been filmed in TV shows like Real Stories of the Highway Patrol and Touched by an Angel. A college dance minor, he has also worked as a choreographer, including choreographing Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat for a liberal arts focused charter high school. Recent stage performance credits include: the Scirish Farmer Dan at the Ragtown Gospel Theatre, Dr. Sanson Carrasco (the Knight of Mirrors) in Man of La Mancha, Daddy Warbucks in Annie and Fred in Miracle on 34th Street.

Falan's life experience adds to his performance art, as he speaks Italian and has worked or lived in over twenty countries including: Wales, Italy, Moldova, Cambodia, Thailand, Botswana, Madagascar, Chile, and Argentina. Falan's favorite writers include Shakespeare, Marlowe, Poe, Sondheim, Tim Rice, Peter Shaffer, Ray Bradbury, Jane Austen and Lloyd Alexander. His all-time favorite acting role was playing Caliban in Shakespeare's The Tempest.

MARY TURNER (Ensemble) earned a Bachelors in Social Work from LCU. Mary’s vocal and performance education was influenced by her studies in the commercial music and fine arts at South Plains College and through private voice with Texas Tech alumni, Janet Alcayaga.

Mary has performed in several Moonlight  Musicals productions, like the annual Madrigal Dinner and A Grand Night for Singing. She was proud to perform at the Organization of American Kodaly Educators’ national conference as a member of the women’s ensemble The Sweet Peas, under the direction of Susan Brumfield.

In her spare time, Mary has performed in Culture Nerd's improv roleplay group live streamed on multiple platforms. She is a tenured featured participant in many tabletop roleplay sessions of Dungeons and Dragons and more recently put herself behind the DM screen as Dungeon Master.

When Mary is not pursuing artistic endeavors, she is helping to support members of local governments as a Supervisory Team Lead at Tyler Technologies.

ALEJANDRO HERNANDEZ (Ensemble)is a local musician and entertainer with many, many years of experience, both professional and amateur. He has been associated with companies from the Children and Adults Theatrical Studio to the Cactus Theater and Lubbock's very own Moonlight Musicals. His fondest roles include the Big Bad Wolf from Into the Woods and Paul Bratter in Neil Simon's Barefoot in the Park. Alejandro had previously semi-retired as a stage actor to pursue a life-long dream of performing music live at Louie Louie's Dueling Piano Bar, the Blue Light and the Rawls Golf Course. Now, he's once again ready to come home and take to the stage as an ensemble cast member to show the Wallace just what he can do.

ALLISON COATS (Ensemble) is thrilled to be making her Levelland debut with the Wallace Theater. A classically trained singer, Allison also excels in theater tech and production. She is a board member at Will of the Wind Productions in Lubbock, TX, and is commonly seen stage managing or directing shows rather than performing in them! A few performance credits are the Marriage of Figaro, Much Ado About Nothing, Sweeney Todd, Nine to Five, West Side Story, and Mary Poppins.

KENSLY PECK (Ensemble) is thrilled to join the ensemble of Sweeney Todd. She is a graduate from Lubbock Christian University with a degree in Biology. Currently, she is teaching science and theatre at Smyer High School while pursuing a Master’s degree in Educational Diagnostics from Wayland Baptist University. While in college, she fell in love with musical theatre with productions such as The Boyfriend and Will Rogers Follies. In her spare time, she serves as the President Elect of The Lubbock Chorale and the Vice President of LCU’s Friends of the Arts. Kensly has appeared in various productions in Lubbock, including The Little Mermaid, Elf, Titanic, Grease, Little Shop of Horrors, Mamma Mia, and The Music Man.

CHASE GIBSON (Ensemble) Born and raised in Lubbock, Texas, Chase has been singing and performing for a good portion of his life. Now 28, his favorite roles have been “Scarecrow” in Wizard of Oz and “Danny Zuko” in Grease. After a short hiatus, he is back in shows and ready to take on new roles. Recently, he played “Jafar” for Horizon’s, Descendants. Now, he is thrilled to take the stage again in Sweeney Todd.
