LEAH RODRIGUEZ (Congregation Member) Leah is a Lubbock native and a Texas Tech University graduate with a B.S. in Restaurant Hotel and Institutional Management. She is currently a Bakery Operations Manager for Market Street and her nights are spent working at Alamo Drafthouse. Leah began her theater experience with the role of Daniela in the 2020 Moonlight Musicals production of “In the Heights”. She was recently in the ensemble for “Little Shop of Horrors” for Lubbock Community Theater. Her journey in musicals is something she is very excited to continue. Leah is very thankful to work with The Wallace and is thrilled to work with the cast and crew of The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
NATALIE STANISLAUS (Congregation Member) Natalie is very excited to be performing in “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” with the Wallace Theater again after her recent performances in “Shakespeare in Hollywood” as Olivia Darnell and in “Sweeney Todd” as Johanna. Natalie has also worked with other performing arts organizations in Lubbock. She recently performed as Maleficent in “Descendants: the Musical” with Horizon School of the Arts and has been in several musicals with Lubbock Community Theater (LCT). Some of her favorite roles at LCT include Inga in “Young Frankenstein,” Miss Honey in “Matilda,” Judy’s Understudy in “9 to 5,” and Wednesday Addams in “The Addams Family.” Natalie has also performed with Lubbock Moonlight Musical as Olga Mara in “Singin’ in the Rain,” Jan in “Grease,” and a General’s Daughter in “Pirates of Penzance.” In her free time, Natalie takes voice lessons from an assistant professor at Texas Tech University, Dr. Alice-Ann Light, and enjoys singing choral music at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church under the direction of Dr. John Hollins. Natalie would like to thank her friends, family, teachers, and boyfriend for their continued support throughout her journey as an actress and performer.
DYLAN AVANT (Lieutenant Frederic Charlus/Congregation Member) Dylan is studying for a double major in theatre and psychology and has graduated this semester with his Associates of Arts in Theatre from South Plains College. This is his first show at the Wallace theatre and is extremely excited to be performing with a new group of talented and passionate performers. Most recently, Dylan performed in his third show with Lubbock Community Theatre as Audrey II (Little Shop of Horrors). Some of his past roles include Professor Plum (Clue), Emmet (Legally Blonde Jr. ) Buddy (Elf Jr.) Christopher Columbus (The Ancient Mariner) Macduff (Macbeth ) and more. Dylan has also been an active part of Lubbock’s “Nightmare on 19th Street” for nine years, upholding the mantle of “The Collector” who conducts the opening of the park every night. Dylan gives very special thanks to his friends, family, and mentors for the support and wisdom.
FRANK ANGUIANO (King Louis XI, Chorus) first fell in love with theater and performing while at Monterey High School. After studying theater for a year at West Texas A&M University under Royal Brantley and Stephen Crandall, Frank walked and away and chose a different path, attending seminary and earning a Master of Divinity degree from Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University and then spending three years as a United Methodist pastor in Texas and Montana. But the desire to perform on stage never went away, and even though Frank had not had an audition in a dozen years, he auditioned for The Wallace’s production of Shakespeare in Hollywood, winning the role of Daryl before transitioning into the role of Will Hays three weeks before the opening of the show. He also recently performed as Colonel Sanders in CATS Playhouse production of The Treasure of Shiver River. Frank hopes to continue to pursue a future as a performer and content creator while also continuing to be an advocate for the disinherited people of his community.
KEELY DAVIS (Madam/Congregation Member) Keely was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas and is currently pursuing a degree in Early childhood education at Texas Tech University. Over the past twelve years, Keely has been no stranger to the local stage. She has been seen in several productions with Moonlight Musicals including “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,” “The Pirates of Penzance,” and, ”The little Mermaid.” Keely has also performed with Lubbock Community Theatre in “9 to 5,” Ballet Lubbock in “The Nutcracker,” Horizon School of the Arts in “Descendants: The Musical,” and, most recently, The Wallace in “Sweeney Todd.” Though her passion lies in performing, Keely also enjoys stepping behind the scenes from time to time. She has served as Stage Manager for productions such as “Into the Woods Jr.” “James and the Giant Peach” and, “Guys and Dolls Jr.” and has also assisted with hair and makeup for various musical revues. Keely is thrilled to be joining this remarkable cast and crew for her second production with The Wallace, and is looking forward to bringing this story to life.
